An ex-convent founded in 1222 by St. Francis of Assisi, the Luna Convento was the first hotel opened on the Amalfi Coast in 1821, and since then has been managed by Barbaro Family. Perched on a cliff directly above the sea, the complex, built around the Cloisters, includes 40 rooms and suites, two restaurants, bars and a meeting room.Across the road are 80 steps leading down to the seawater swimming pool private sundeck and beach. The ancient Saracen tower houses a bar and one of the hotels restaurants.

The Hotel Luno Convento is the perfect place to live everlasting moments such as weddings and blessings. These can be held in the tranquility of the private chapel within the grounds of the hotel.
