Surrounded by the spectacular Tuscan countryside, Florence is re-nowned for its wealth of art, architecture & culture. The main attraction in the city is the impressive Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore, but there are plenty of art galleries, museums and Churches to visit. The town is situated on the river Arno, which is spanned by the famous Ponte Vecchio, the only of Florence’s bridges not to be blown up in the Second World War. It is approximately 15 minutes from Florence Airport and just over 1 hour to Pisa Airport
The stunning countryside around Florence is a must see for wine lovers. Some of Italy’s best wine comes from the vineyards in Siena & San Gimignano. You can also vist the Appenine mountains to the south of Florence or the medieval town of Pistoia just an hour away.
Fiesole
Fiesole is a pretty town in the scenic hills above Florence with Etruscan roots, Roman ruins, and views of Florence on clear days. In summer, there are breezes to cool the temperature and outdoor performances in the Roman Amphitheater. It is easily accessible by public transport so it makes a great venue choice for your wedding & reception.

Vinci
The towns most famous resident is the fantastic renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci. This Medieval town lies in the heart of the most verdant countryside and it surrounded by a landscape with magical and enchanted atmospehere. In the centre of the town you can see the beautiful Conti Guidi Castle commonly known as "The Ship’s Castle", due to its long shape and to the tower which recall the outline of a sailing-boat.
