St. Michael and Christ Church parishes in the south have a string of beaches as well, including Browne’s Beach, Needham’s Point, and Casuarina Cove. There are many beachfront resorts on the west and south coasts. The island is ringed by reefs and shoals, the waters off the West Coast and parts of the south coast are particularly good for diving.
