With over 320 sunny days a year, the aptly named Costa Del Sol is an ideal wedding location. Moorish palaces, picturesque villages, rugged mountains and endless coastline makes it an exotic and stunning place. The region~s Spanish and Moorish heritage is evident in the architecture and old gypsy traditions that still thrive - flamenco dancing being the region~s most famous export.
The vibrant cities of Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso, and Seville, where happy hour starts at midnight, contrast with traditional white-washed ports. So sink your feet into the sand and bask in the sun or search out the remnants of an impressive cultural history.
Weddings in Costa Del Sol
The joy of getting married in Spain is that you know you can have your refreshments outdoors, most venues have pools or water features that are beautifully lit up at night time, and that no matter what time of the year, you are likely to see a fabulous blue sky for your wedding photos instead of a grey sky and a lot of golf umbrellas!
Torremolinos
With something to suit every taste and pocket. This resort makes a terrific base for a fun holiday. There is plenty to do besides soaking up the sun on the beach.
Benalmadena
Boasts an extremely attractive harbour and marina as well as its own sprinkling of beaches. It is a purpose built holiday resort with a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and discos.
Marbella
One of the most famous resorts in the Mediterranean, Marbella is home to some of the most renowned golf courses in the world, with its beautiful beaches and glittering yacht marina.
Nerja
Nerja is situated on the coast, at the foothills of the dramatic Sierra Almijaras mountains about 45 kms east of Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Although Nerja is a popular tourist resort it has managed to keep its Spanish character, particularly the old part of town with it~s narrow cobbled streets and Tapas Bars.
