Located in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius lies over 2000km off the east coast of South Africa.  The stunning island is only 45km wide and 65km in length.

Mauritian culture is a wonderful blend of English, French, Chinese, Creole, Hindu and Muslim influences.  English is the official language on the island, although French and Creole are mostly spoken amongst the local community.

Mauritius offers all visitors tropical white sandy beaches, warm turquoise Indian Ocean waters and luxurious hotels and many interesting places to see during your stay on the island.

If you are looking for a very special place to spend your honeymoon or to get married, Mauritius is definitely the place for you. Every hotel on the island offers extensive wedding and honeymoon packages.

Couples can choose to have an intimate, private occasion or a more adventurous way of exchanging vows - on a sunny beachside, under the sea or in the sky.  Mauritius will transform your wedding or your honeymoon into an unforgettable moment.

Grand Baie
Grand Baie located in the north of the island hosts a variety of fashion, craft shops and restaurants.  At night Grand Baie is probably the best place on the island to experience some of the local nightlife.

It is the departure point for helicopter excursions and provides facilities for deep-sea angling and  boat excursions to the islands to the north of Mauritius: Gunners~ Quoin, Flat Island, Round Island and Serpent Island.

Port Louis
Port Louis is the capital of Mauritus and is a vibrant daytime venue of outdoor cafes, restaurants and shops.  Le Caudan Waterfront facing the harbour welcomes boats from all over the world.

Port Louis has conserved many historic and colonial buildings through the years and has three museums, it is a must see during your stay in Mauritius.
