Lanzarote, situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and the most easterly of the Canary Islansd. It is a beautiful island with unusual volcanic landscape, whitewashed low rise resorts, sandy beaches and year round sunshine makes it an ideal wedding location at any time of the year.

There is something for everyone in Lanzarote - Water sports, Nature parks, Sandy beaches, mountains, caves, shopping - Lanzarote has it all!  

Catholic weddings can take place in Lanzarote as long as both the bride & groom are Cathoilics. Communion is not celebrated in the wedding mass as this does not form part of the Spanish wedding traditions

Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca is situated at the southern tip of Lanzarote. It was originally a small fishing village, but this town has now developed into a popular and thriving resort. It is one of the quieter resorts on the island and is the perfect location to relax and take it easy. There is a good choice of beaches with calm waters, making it ideal for families and couples.

Puerto Del Carmen
Puerto del Carmen is easily the most popular resort for Irish tourists in Lanzarote. Time spent here can be as lively or a relaxed as you like. It is a great base for couples and families alike  and offers superb sandy beaches, hundreds of trinket and souvneir shops, stylish bars & restaurants and a wide range of water-sports.  The town is divided into the ~Old Town~ & the ~New Town~ The original fishing village still retains all its old worldly charm but is also home to some lively bars!

Puerto Calero

Puerto Calero is a small upmarket area with a beautiful marina berthin yachts & catamarans. Located a short drive from Puerto Del Carmen and just 15 minutes from Playa Blanca. There are trendy bars and restaurants in the area. There is no beach in Puerto Calero, however there are plenty to choose from in the surrounding resorts.
